After going through the Trials, submitting the Admissions interview, and receiving your letter of acceptance - we will ask that you complete your registration with Microverse.

This stage is a great time to reflect on your commitment to Microverse and make the final decision about your preferred start date to ensure you are optimally prepared for the journey ahead.

To complete your registration, you will be:

The documentation you are asked to submit is relatively light, though we still experience a few applicants that find this process to be somewhat of a bottleneck when they do not have the identity documents and/or proof of address at hand.

If this applies to you, we recommend that you begin the process of obtaining the required documentation as early as possible to avoid being moved to a start date subsequent to your preferred one.

πŸ“Έ What identity documents can I submit?

Any ID card is permissible as long as it is issued by the government. The identity documents we usually receive are:

  • Driver's license

  • Passport

  • Voter's card

  • National ID card

πŸ€” Other requirements

At least one of the submitted documents should be a photo ID, i.e. the document should feature a photo of you, normally in the top left corner of the ID card.

πŸ˜” What to do if I don't have an ID card?

We cannot budge regarding your identity documents, however, in certain instances, we have been able to accept one (1) ID card and one (1) birth certificate instead of two (2) ID cards. Please contact our support team if you believe this is the only option for you, and they will advise accordingly.

🏘 What is Proof of Address?

One of the ID cards supplied in the previous step often serves as proof of address by featuring your physical address on the document. However, if you do not have your address listed in any of the ID cards you sent us, you need to submit a separate document to meet this requirement.

There are several types of documents you can supply that verify your residential address. The common ones we see serve as Proof of Address are:

  • Bank or credit card statement

  • Utility bill (electricity bill, phone bill, or another invoice)

  • A rental agreement for a house/apartment

πŸ€” Other requirements

Unless your ID card serves as your Proof of Address, the document must show the following:

  • Date of issue

    • For statements, utility bills, or invoices, this should not be older than 3 months

  • Issuing person or company (e.g., your bank or network provider)

  • Your name and surname

  • The street address, house/apartment number, and city where you live

πŸ˜” What to do if I do not have proof of address?

We must be able to confirm where you live, seeing as you are entering into a financial agreement with Microverse, and the details you provide in that agreement must be verifiable to some degree.

However, we are also aware that many circumstances can prevent or complicate the possibility of acquiring this type of document. If this is the case for you, please do not hesitate to reach out to our support team for more information about possible next steps.
