No matter which country you live in, or are from, if you're a Microverse applicant, student, or alum, you can sign up for our Referral Program. However, if you're looking to refer someone to Microverse's full-time program, please note that there are country restrictions in place that may affect you.
Why are some countries not eligible for referrals? π π»
If you don't see the country of the friend you're referring among the eligible ones, that means we will accept your referral but not award the $150 USD. This is due to one of two reasons. Either:
1οΈβ£ Your country is already strongly represented at Microverse
This is not an active selection or exclusionary measure taken by Microverse, but a side effect of our existing student body diversity risking becoming skewed if we were to accept more students from countries in which we are already performing strongly.
2οΈβ£ Our program is not available in a time zone that matches your country
We hope to offer a schedule better suited to numerous countries in the future. Until we have a good fit for them, we are not actively looking to enroll students that would struggle with their life-student balance due to this.
β‘οΈ Exceptions
If your referral is female or non-binary, the country restrictions do not apply and you can still earn the referral bonus, provided the other eligibility requirements are also met.
Females and non-binary individuals are severely underrepresented in the technology sphere, which is why we want to encourage applications from these groups regardless of country.
