This article is in reference to the Applicant Check-In Form, which is available once an applicant passes our Coding Challenges.

We don't have an alternative to the introductory video in the Applicant Check-In Form. We use the video to verify that your webcam and microphone are working well before pairing you for the Trials. Pair programming with subpar equipment is really frustrating so we need to confirm the quality to avoid frustration for you and your future partners.

However, we understand that not everyone is comfortable with having a video of them posted online. We recommend using Loom, so that your videos are inherently private and not searchable. In addition, you will be able to fully delete this video once we have processed your Check-In (and you receive an email from us with the next steps).

Finally, you can rest assured that we value your privacy and we would never make any part of your application public without getting your explicit permission first.
