The idea is really simple: if you want to accomplish something hard in life, the best thing you can do is to make a public announcement of your commitment. And when thousands of other people make the same commitment and encourage each other, it works even better.
That's what the #100DaysOfCode commitment is. It's a public commitment you make on Twitter that you will code a minimum of one hour every day for the next 100 days.
You just need to follow two very simple rules to complete the challenge:
Code minimum an hour every day for the next 100 days.
Tweet your progress every day with the #100DaysOfCode hashtag.
To get started, click here to announce your commitment on Twitter. You will need to create a Twitter account if you don't have one. A Twitter account will be really useful once you start looking for jobs, so start today.
You can also start following some of the other people who are going through the challenge as well. You can easily find them on Twitter by searching for #100DaysOfCode.
